2.The damage of hardened washer
The hardened washer has to bear all the thrust of the jackbolts, during the tightening procedure, an O-shaped indentation will be formed on the surface, which is normal. The indentation will form rapidly during the initial installation. After the preload reaches, the collapse will gradually stop with the cold hardening of the surface layer, which will not affect the normal use of the super nut.
3. The reference and working torque value
3.1 The torque value and proload in the table are provided for general reference.
3.2 There are many factors affecting torque coefficient, and the reference torque value may not conform your connection system.
3.3 For semi permanent connections, the working torque value can be referred to the nominal torque value or provided by us.
3.4 For permanent connections, the actual torque value can be 130% of the working torque value.
4.Jackbolts cannot be loosened
4.1 Try to loose at least one jackbolt.
4.2 Lubricate it and tighten with 110% of the recommended jackbolt torque.
4.3 The two neighboring jackbolts should become free.
4.4 Repeat the above operation until all the jackbolts are loosened.
