TECENG® Super Nut decomposes the preload into several component of forces along the axial direction. The Jackbolts are tightened symmetrically one by one to exert huge axial preload on the connected parts.
When tightening the jackbolts distributed along the circumference, A huge axial thrust is generated on the Hardened Washer. The preload can be accurately controlled by torque wrench.

No power source
Super Nut has great advantages in many occasions. It can tight large-size bolts precisely without hydraulic bolt tensioner, hydraulic (pneumatic, electric) wrench and other tools. It can be used in field operation, inflammable and explosive environment, low and high temperature environment, gas,electricity and liquid limited environment.
Strong temperature adaptability
High temperature can lead to the failure of sealing ring and the oxidation of hydraulic oil when using the hydraulic tightening tools.
Resistance of eccentric load
In the connection of components, the center hole and the supporting surface usually need to keep good perpendicularity.In some cases, this will increase the manufacturing difficulty and cost. However, super nut can improve the head shape of the jackbolt to make it have a certain capacity of eccentric load, and reduce the manufacturing diffi culty and accuracy.
Reduce the stress concentration
In the general thread connection, the top three threads of the nut will bearing most of the pre tightening axial force, and the end of threads will bearing little or no force.Super nut have more uniform stress in the whole height direction of the nut with its special structure.
Higher cost performance
The larger size of bolt, the greater the weight and volume of hydraulic wrench or bolt tensioner , means the cost is higher
